EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Due to my Austrian/Turkish roots, I have always been fascinated by languages and different cultures, which led me to decide to pursue a career as a translator and interpreter.

I see my professional mission not only as transferring a written or spoken language from one language to another, but also as creating the opportunity to build bridges between people and cultures, thus overcoming linguistic and cultural barriers.

During my time abroad, I received training at the Vienna State University German Interpreter Sprachen- und Dolmetscherinstitut (SDI). After returning to Turkey, I completed the German Language Teaching program at Trakya Univ. I worked in a German company for 14 years.

After passing the State Examination for German Interpreters and Translators, I received my German Sworn Translator-Interpreter License.

Since I received my license (in 2001 and 2024), I have worked as a freelance, officially appointed and sworn German translator and interpreter, and as a conference interpreter at my professional residence in Çerkezköy. I mostly translate and interpret for companies in various sectors, courts and prosecutors, law firms, government agencies, the police and private individuals.

I am officially appointed and sworn German translator at the Tekirdağ Regional Court and registered with the Tekirdağ Judicial Sworn Translator Bar Association.
